- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 8 ounces penne pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Add the penne and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Chicken
Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, until golden and cooked through. Remove and let rest, then slice.
Make the Creamy Parmesan Sauce
In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for 1 minute.
Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
Add Parmesan and Italian seasoning, stirring until the cheese melts and the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine Pasta and Sauce
Toss the cooked pasta in the creamy sauce until fully coated.
